The founders of Kawa, Matt and Mitch, share a passion for great food and drink. The kind of food and drink that's made with time and without compromise. A passion rooted in childhoods filled with growers, brewers and cooks.
On returning from London, their mission was to create a health drink that uses the best New Zealand ingredients. Working out of Matt’s garage in Auckland, the pair created Kawa - a wild fermented drinking sour. A drink you can have every day; free of excess sugar and non-alcoholic.
With the encouragement of family and friends, they are now sharing this refreshingly unique drink they created for themselves, with the rest of New Zealand.
